On 24th July, Rainforest Concern's Mauricio Bustamante received our
second Declaration of Protected Forest Status (Bosque Protector) for the
Neblina Reserve from Ecuador's Minister of the Environment, Señor
Tarsicio Granizo. This brings the total area of Neblina legally
recognised as protected forest to nearly 4,200 acres (1,700 hectares).
Over 100 people attended the event.
